Expanding on a plan initiative by the Boston Society of Architects for this former mill and industrial site in Hudson, MA, Ryan Associates identified landscape strategies that would encourage a mutually beneficial relationship between the new town center and adjacent community. These strategies provide for growth, social interaction, and retail/commercial support by strengthening the connections between each of the parts.
The village green provides a central gathering space for WestRidge residents and is at the heart of this 138 home community for active adults. A network of green spaces provides for further connection and interaction between all parts of the development.
