LAGRANGE MILL LOFTS

Ryan Associates is currently finalizing plans for the adaptive reuse of a historic mill complex located one mile south of downtown Worcester. The project will transform approximately 100,000 square feet of former industrial space, distributed across five existing buildings, into 63 mixed-income residential units, with an emphasis on housing for lower-income residents.
Historic preservation is central to the design approach. Proposed site amenities, including gathering spaces and areas for play, reinterpret existing site features in ways that respect the character of the mill’s industrial past.
The steeply sloped topography presents both design and accessibility challenges, requiring thoughtful grading strategies and carefully integrated circulation routes to create an inclusive and functional landscape.
This project reflects Ryan Associates’ expertise in shaping vibrant, resilient communities, often on complex sites and within tight budget constraints.
Completion is anticipated in 2028.
