PRINCETON FORESTAL VILLAGE PRINCETON, NJ
While at Sasaki, Tom Ryan helped design this pre “New Urbanism” village which creates a landscape of energy and enthusiasm for visitors and residents alike. From the enfolding open spaces, a delightful place to merge work, life and play materializes. The design challenge became the integration of an office park with a town hall, town center, housing, shops and hotel. The design solution encouraged city-like amenities that maintained small town character. In what could have been a monoculture of office buildings, adults and children alike find the resonance of this ASLA award winning design distinctly engaging.
