Red Mill Village is an award-winning mixed-use community featuring more than 150 homes across 52 acres. The neighborhood includes age-restricted cottages, townhouses, and single-family residences, all supported by a retail and office center. Ryan Associates provided design and construction oversight for all private yards and garden spaces, as well as overall project detailing.
Each private garden is designed with a lawn or patio that extends the home’s living space outdoors. These gardens connect seamlessly to Red Mill Village’s many shared amenities, including the village green and curbside parks, the swimming pool and clubhouse, and the community garden plots and nature trails.
As a compelling example of Smart Growth and Traditional Design in New England, Red Mill Village emphasizes walkability, human-scaled architecture, and an interconnected public realm. The result is a cohesive neighborhood environment that feels established and vibrant, fostering community identity rather than functioning as a simple collection of homes.
